夏の東北ドライブ その１９
男鹿半島を一周した後に八郎潟を走行してたどり着いたのは
秋田県山本郡三種町の釜谷浜海水浴場です。
ここは、サンセットビーチとキャンプ場を併設しています。
風力発電所を兼ねるウインドファームと海の家は
最近の秋田県沿岸のトレンドとなりつつあります。
夏になると海の家の他にパラソルが・・・
これは秋田県名物の「ババヘラアイス」
道路際で多く見られた夏の風物詩でもありました。
このババヘラアイスの本社は、この近くで
夏の間の奥様方のアルバイトとして
周辺の道路で立ち売りしていたのがはじまりです。
普段はピンク色のアイスをヘラで
バラの形に作るのがこのアイスですが
お姉さま方によって作り方はバラバラで
バリエーションがたくさんあります。
出来上がりを競う様子もみられます。
この日はあまりにも暑かったので溶けてしまいました。
同時開催で、砂の彫刻の甲子園
「サンドクラフト2019 in みたね」が開催されていました。
日本海側の海水浴場の雰囲気をお楽しみください。

It was so hot that it melted.
